Walking tends to help with that, do as much as possible. Pain meds tend to do nothing for that pain as well. It will settle try your best to stay positive

Did they give you an Incentive Spirometer? Are you using it hourly? It helps so much with those gas bubbles!

As mentioned above walking and a spirometer help immensely. The other thing that helped for me was having someone rub my back in slow circular motions. I don't know what it was about that but it help

Hello everyone! this is POD 3 from a sleeve. I had an incidental repair of a hyatal hernia as well. Didn't know I had the hernia.
My misery is that l haven't been able to burp. I have this giant gas sitting in my chest, waiting for my chest to explode. i am doing tums around the clock but with no success. Any suggestions? i am very miserable. Thank you.
