I had the gastric sleeve surgery on 10/19/2018, and it has been work all the way. Although I'm in so much pain, I can't wait to see the results. I'm ashamed to say this, but when I started my phase 1 and 2 diets, I weighed in at 554lbs. As of today, I'm at 498lbs. Besides the pain, I haven't really had any other issues as of now with nausea etc I'll be moving on to the puree stage 10/27/18. I will just like to encourage everyone to keep pushing through, we can do it!

Congratulations Sharon, I've been drinking protein shakes, 1 percent milk, chicken broth, sugar free popsicles, and been trying to tolerate crystal light. Before surgery, crystal light was always my drink of choice, but for some reason, it seems way sweeter to me now.

@var4795. Maybe try the mimeo type liquid flavors so you can control the amount. I’ve liked them so far. I even tried different brands. I’m looking forward to getting a surgery date. ❤️

Hi there...you took the necessary steps to start your journey so you are to be commended. Take one day at a time, vent when you need to and celebrate by doing something nice for yourself when you accomplish mini and major goals. Whether we started at a high weight or low weight for whatever reason we are all striving for the same thing "CHANGE" We are all here for you cheering you on, feel free to ask questions, concerns or whatever, I'm pretty new myself but if I can help you I certainly will and if not there are a lot of veterans around here that will jump in and assist you.

Welcome and I wish you all the best!! ?

I'm only able to get down around 40 to 50 ounces at the moment, my doctor wants me to at least hit a daily goal of 80 ounces a day.
