October 8th!!

My surgery date is October 8th! I’m nervous and excited at the same time. I’m excited for new, healthier body and being able to do all the things I want to do. I have three boys (8, 4 and 2), and they are very active.

I started the liquid diet yesterday and I’m doing ok. But tomorrow is my middle son’s birthday party (he’ll be 5 very soon) so that will be challenging!

You will do great =) Keep with your routine and you wont notice the liquid diet. My surgery is Friday and while not looking forward to it, Im also excited to get it done and start fresh and new. I hate these liquids but I just do it and lots of water...You can have SF Jello at your sons party so that is a good thing =) Let us know how it goes =)

Teach those physical children not to jump on you while you recover from surgery. Good luck! You are not alone.
