Nausea 3 weeks post op

I was sleeved on 8-21-2018 and the first two weeks were amazing I felt great and lost 26 pobuds. About 2.5 weeks in I was overcome with nausea and vomiting. I’ve tried anti-nausea meds like zofran which don’t seem to help. I take promethazine at night which seems to help but only because it knocks me out for hours at a time.

Has anybody else experienced this and if so what did you do to help? I’m barely able to get water down at this point I need to do something.

I am still pre-op so probably won't be any help at all, but I hope you are feeling better soon. Did you speak to your surgeon about this? I would think they would need to be made aware due to the dehyrdration risk.

I think your best bet is to call your surgeon or family doctor. I can’t imagine the discomfort!
