Got my surgery date: October 22, 2018....and now the wait... Would love to gather a cohort here to go through this with!!!

I just received my approval, but haven't set the date yet. I am waiting for her to call me back.

October 1 here, I'm kind of freaking out. Oddly enough, surgery isn't what's freaking me out, it's life after surgery that's freaking me out.

I got my approval today too and the date is set for October 11th. Super happy and excited!

I hear you! I’m Oct 1 as well and just the liquid diet prep is making me a nervous wreck for life after.

Yes, I just try not to think about it and take it a day at a time. It is scary because it is a huge life change, but if I don't do it I will stay miserable with my weight so that isn't an option.

@clara1900 I’m so nervous. I had the band in 2012 and removed in 2015 so the pain isn’t making me nervous but I’m miserable in liquids. I’m so hungry! I’ve only gotten in one protein shake today and it’s 5pm.. I just can’t get them down.

Thank you and it is. it is sooo frustrating, but I'm taking it in stride and allowing the process to work for me. I decided to use the time to prepare even more mentally (as much as I can, of course), try other protein, and continue to research. Hoping the best for your clearance. Keep me posted!
