Intoduction

Hi,

My name is Eulete Patrick. I am currently separated from my husband and I have one son named Tommy. He means the world to me and is my motivation behind me getting healthy. I am an Accountant and I love what I do. Weight has been an issue for many years and I have tried Weight Watchers and succeeded to reach goal, but, then I gained it back and more. I never considered the gatric bypass because I thought it was too dangerous. However, around August 3, 2007 I was watching the news, a lap-band commercial came on and I liked what I heard. I went to work and on my lunchbreak I started researching to find out all I could about the lap band. Then, I went to the seminar on

August 19, 2007 and from there I started the paper work. I knew from calling my insurance company that my insurance covered 100% for obesity surgery. SO, we started the paperwork and on October 31, 2007 I received the call that I was approved. So, my date for surgery is November 14, 2007. I started my 7 day liquid diet as of yesterday. Please pray for me as I pray for all of your on my banded day. I am glad to have this forum because it's just my son and I in Houston, Texas. I have great family support but, unfortunately none of my family lives in Houston. However, I have friends and they are supporting me. My doctor is Bradley Waggoner here in Houston, Texas and he is wonderful.

Thanks

Eulete:clap2:

Welcome Eulete!

Wow, your surgery will be here before you know it. You are very lucky that your insurance company pays 100%. I have good insurance too, mine paid 90% and I feel very blessed because without that I never would have been able to do it. I will pray for you as you face the liquid diet and the upcoming surgery. Good luck and take care!

Wow...congratulations....I hope my insurance story will be just as smooth as yours..

Are you and your husband back together? I’m sure you’re looking great and feeling well about your self. Good luck your introduction was very inspiring.
