My incision pain went away around 4.5 weeks. The largest incision where the surgeon worked from was the one that lasted so long; like yours. i didn’t use a binder. But if you feel like it’ll help
Hi all: I'm 4 days post-op and the incisions are bothering me more than I'd anticipated, as I think I have a pretty high pain tolerance. The one incision which was closest to the surgeon (where I'm assuming she did most of the poking and proding) is really bruised, swollen, and painful. The other incisions I barely notice. (except for the creepy one where the drain was inserted!)
How long did it take for your pain to go away from Laparoscopic surgery? Am I near the end, or should I invest in an Abdominal Binder? Putting pressure on the spot seems to help, but I can't do that on my own all day. I'd rather not spend more money if I don't need to, but I'd also like to not hurt. I don't want to buy this and then the pain be gone by the time it is delivered.
Any advice?
