Not really hungry but...

Had RNY on Tue 7/24 and I’m working hard on getting protein, water and calories in as directed. I’m not sure if I’m hungry or not, I’m sick of sweet shakes so I’m trying cream soups which helps.
What doesn’t help is cooking the family sausage and potatoes with peppers and onions for dinner. I don’t really want it but it sure smells good!
Sigh, not really a pity party and i have no regrets but I’d sure like a nibble on one of those buttery peppers or a pinch of sausage.
I know i’ll be able to enjoy it again some time but it is a challenge.

Can you spice up some of your cream soups with a little ground fennel and some oregano to give it that sausage flavor?
