Hi!
Today I am two weeks post-op. I did great the first week on liquids and was doing well on pureed until a couple of days ago. I have been nauseous for a couple days and yesterday I couldn't hold it in any longer and I vomited - although, there was nothing really there and there was just a lot of gagging and dry heaving. Today, I woke up feeling nauseous and I haven't eaten because I feel so crumby. I am getting plenty of water, gatorade and protein shake but there is a lack of protein. I'm almost scared to eat now that I have thrown up.
I know everyone's bodies are different but I just want an overall opinion.
Is this normal two weeks out? Will the nausea go away? Is this something I should call the dr. about or wait another day or two to see if it passes?
