i’m flying in the day of my surgery, Do we eat or drink anything before surgery?

    I was told not to eat or drink anything after midnight. Most anesthesiologists or anesthetists won't put a patient under unless they have gone without food or drink for 6-8 hours. It prevents aspiration which can be serious. Good luck with your surgery!
