15 months PO

Hello, I’m 38 and had RNY April 2017 I’m down 150lbs or so. I eat right, I have a bad day here and there. I work out 5 days a week.
It’s different and hard not to think of my self as the fat girl any more. And society is even worse, people are nicer to me talk to me out of the blue. As if I was to gross before. I’m still me the same personality.
I’m glad I had this surgery besides the 3 endoscopy and balloon dilations I had. I’m so much healthier and can keep up with my 4 year old so much better.
Obesity is in my family and my sister and mom are bigger. And I find that they volunteer me to do a lot more because “ I’m the skinny one”. As if I’m not busy enough being a single mom. But I remember how much it hurt to have that much weight on me. That’s a bit about me.

You look amazing!

Incredible! Congrats!
Wow I look like your before, now to see if in a year or 18months if I can look as good as you. Some of the veterans say people tell them " I could tell you were members of the same family, but I didn't it was still you!" Wonder if they will say the same to me??

Congrats on your fabulous weight loss and exercise commitment! I hope you’re also working with a therapist to improve your self image and to learn to set appropriate boundaries with your family. All the best; you’re an inspiration to others in our community.
