Just got a surgery date!

October 3! I thought I would be so excited by now I’m worried to death that insurance will deny me.

@JessieGrace319 @Matt Z hey, thanks! I agree, it’s weird but yes! They had me do all the testing, then scheduled surgery at my follow up. I also had to schedule all of my pre op & post op appointm

Hi @busyforever! Congrats on your surgery date! Didn't your surgeon get the approval before giving you a date? I'm still in the pre-op process (appts and all of that fun stuff) so I'm trying to learn as much as possible. I could have sworn my surgeon told me that they go through insurance first, get approval and THEN set a surgery date. I should be ready for everything to be submitted for insurance by the end of next month so I have my fingers crossed! I have no concept of how long it will be once I get the insurance approval and I'm so eager to just get this show on the road! Lol

Congrats! I'm surprised they gave you a surgical date before insurance approval, I don't think I've seen that happen before.

I also had to schedule all of my pre op & post op appointments for the next 9 months. It will all be submitted to insurance one month before the surgery date ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
WHAT can I Say? Your surgery road seems so smooth and eady, and I keep chugachugging, along. I'll make it,there too, just getting impatient.Congratulations on everything.?
