I want to have the house reallly clean so I wont be sitting in a room with so much clutter. And I am hoping my friends will visit me while I am recouperating .

Cerrin - I wouldn't get too comfortable with the thought that you should be sitting and resting and having visitors after surgery. I had my educational seminar with the nurse this week and she made it very clear that - yes we may get tired and should lay down, but the worst thing we could do is sit or lay in bed all day to recouperate. We should be up and walking around as much as possible.... So, perhaps there is no need to stress out so much with getting decorations done - you can do them while you're taking laps around the house.

OK I will have to keep that in mind. I dont like laying arround. But I was thinking about having people in my house entertaining them. not me laying in bed. *gasp* mom would die if she thought I would be lounging in bed with people in the house. lol.

Laps....I dont know about laps. but movement yes.

Cerrin - maybe you should have a decorating party after surgery...Invite your friends over and have them help you decorate....Could be fun if done in the right spirit.....

What a great idea.

December 17th is my date - can't wait. I start my liquid diet on the 3rd, kinda nervous about that. Having it done in Springfield, MO by Dr. Edwards - anyone else from that area?

I'm not very computer smart so I really don't know how to add my name to the list - so if someone wants to do it for me it's fine.

surgery date 12/26/07

I am December 17! Banding in Reno by Dr. Sasse at Wester Barriatric. I hope someone will add me to the list. I need to get the glitter banner on my profile some how. I am sooo clueless when it comes to the computer I usually have my DH do everything for me but I don't want to ask him to help me. Maybe I'll get my 14 year old daughter to help.

It must have been something about that day! My surgery for that date was canceled as well, so I know exactly how heartbreaking it was for you. Your new date will be here before you know it!

Wow! Thanks for sharing that. I was so upset I couldn't even come to this site for a few days....I thought I was the only one & that makes it always feel worse. Thanks for letting me know, I am not alone! :biggrin1:
