Anyone here had Omega Loop Gastric Bypass in Sydney, Australia?

Had mine June 4!

Hi, I'm in Australia too, but no I haven't had the omega loop gastric bypass, first I've heard of it. I looked it up, I see its also know as mini gastric bypass which I have seen mentioned on the boards.

40g protein

Hi, I’m an Aussie too and had a sleeve done on the 4 June.

Im on liquids til the 17th, then on to soft/mushy food for 4 weeks.

I haven’t been given any goals yet, just to drink plenty of water and lots of protein. I see my nutritionist next week so assume I’ll be given nutritional and calorie goals then.

I think the team wait to see how you go before they give you goals. So far I’ve been really lucky.

I had Omega loop mini gastric bypass.
6 more days of fluids. Had nausea, and stomach still quite sore, but ondansetron and buscopan are helping a little.
40g of protein each day, filled with two opti shakes (or a shake and a soup) plus some diet cordial.
See the GP in the morning and get some pathology done before I see the surgeon and dietitian for follow up next week
