Im having my surgery on July 19,2018. Just wondering if any one else is having their surgery in July? Just want someone to talk to about the stress of surgery and excitement

I’m having my surgery on August 28, 2018 , im very excited but very nervous about anesthesia. Am I the only one?

Both of you are right, J San and Simpson. What will be will be, and fretting doesn't help or change anything. Learning to relax is the most helpful for our systems. Some Xanax would also be nice. :-)

I doubt you're the only one, Bubula. I have the utmost respect and regard for the anesthesiologist, keeping you asleep just enough and focusing on you the whole time - your vitals, your face, your extremities. Can you describe your fears about it?

Bubula you aren’t alone at all. I’m having surgery the 23rd and terrified of it. Trying to relax and remind myself that everything will be okay

Hey NJ neighbors. Home now for 3rd day and feeling better every day. Best of luck to you two and to all the others that mentioned dates in the next few weeks.

July 27! Day 3 of liquid diet. Got the three kids (5, 4, & 1) as the wife had a planned girls weekend. Normally love this, but it’s just miserable right now. But super pumped for surgery!

My surgery is July 26th. I’m from Sioux Falls, SD

Hi, Mine is July 16th, I'm not nervous. I had surgery before. I take the Lord in with me. I just started the liquids diet that's where the hard part for me, I can do it but I have to cook for my husband. Now that can be hard. "Lord Help me"

Hi all. I'm scheduled for RNY on July 30th! I am going to go ahead and start my pre-op liver-shrinking diet today. The six-month wait went by pretty fast, fortunately.

I'm thinking that will br my date!! Are you able to have one meal per day on your pre op?

I’m on the 30th also....i was suppose to have it June 28th was super nervous broke out in hives on my stomach so they canx the surgery 10 mins before i was to be wheeled in the operating room
so now I’m rescheduled to the 30 of July!!!!

I'm thinking mine will be the 30th as well. What are you getting?
