Suntan & Pool

I have a question for everyone. How long after your sleeve did you go out and lay in the sun and go in the pool? I live in South Florida and this weekend is the first weekend we have sun. It’s been raining for like the last two weeks and I want to lay out and get some color. Please let me know your thoughts?

Thank you for your feedback. I am four weeks post op and my last incision that was open due to my infection just healed. Yes i was definitely going to sunscreen my incisions and still wear my one piece suit but the plan was not to stay out long in the sun, i just wanted some color, I’m turning too pale
I started indoor tanning right away but threw a towel over my belly until my incisions were healed. At two weeks, Doc said to wait one more for swimming so I haven’t sunbathed outdoors yet.

my doc said to keep incision sites sunscreened, it will help them to fade

Thank you that’s what i did. I didn’t stay out long because it was hot out and the uv index was very high.
