  1. Welcome aboard and welcome home!
  2. Colace daily for me otherwise major issues.
  3. Mine was really low last couple days. 85/50 the lowest. Had me stop lasix and cardizem med I’m usually on and start drinking propel for electrolytes. Gone back up to 105/60ao that’s a start
  4. I told people I work with before I told my family. Only because we are a very close knit group. My family I only told my mother and brother 2 weeks before only because I didn’t want everyone’s opinion whether I should have surgery or not. Not anyone else’s decision, They all know now and are supportive because it’s a done deal.
  5. Had mine on 5/22. No complications. Doing 3 protein shakes a day and other clear liquids. Really want eat some regular food but waiting for ok. I think the 3 week mark I can start soft foods. Only have pain if I do something too strenuous. Get tired quickly. Have not been nauseous much until last couple of days. I’m going to try switching I’ll I drink. Today I could only drink 2shakes.

  7. Do you think you might be a little dehydrated? Seems crazy with all fluids we have to drink but you have to get a minimum of 40 oz a day preferably 60. I know I get nauseous when I don’t drink enough. Our bodies are very different know.
  8. I was told 4 weeks but if you are healed I don’t see why not
  9. The preop diet for me was really hard. 2weeks liquid only with protein shakes. I mostly stuck to it bit had a few cheats with attitude but I won’t be able to eat anything after surgery for 3 weeks. Which I am in now and am having a very hard time with. I just can’t stand anymore drinking and not chewing and tasting something different. Preop was 3 shakes a day. I’m 1 1/2 weeks postop and doing same with clear liquids. I never noticed how much my. Kids eat before. Everything smells so good. Anyway if you can get in exercise at least 5 times a week lbs will fall off with preop diet. Try it for a week and see. I meant to be more encouraging but I guess I needed to do my own whine as well. I would kill for a protein bar.
  10. Moondoggie1983 you have to see your surgeon now. There might be something not right , a blockage or something. My surgeon wants to know every little thing and if that was happening it has to be addressed immediately. I’m sorry you are having so much trouble. If surgeon won’t see you find one that will.
  11. Surgery on 5 22. On 3 week proteins shake and liquids. Sometimes get hungry . Starting to really resent not being able to eat anything. First week was very sore and lots of muscle spasms every time I drank. That is all much better now. Can’t wait for puréed stage.

  15. I have a beef stick or peanut butter sometimes. 3 chicken nuggets last night. Got McD for my son and had some of his and a handful of fries
  16. I’ve been doing liquid for 2 weeks with few cheats here and there and then Sunday and Monday the dreaded golytle gallon 1/2 on each day and only clear liquids . It says I can have protein shakes but only clear liquids. No milk. I don’t like them with water.
