Started process

I just had my seminar and first consultation with surgeon. He recommends the sleeve for me, and am super excited. Sounds like late summer I will be having the process done.

Congratulations for starting this amazing journey!

It takes courage to start this journey but it is well worth it in the end.

Welcome welcome, how can we all help you? You'll find people from " newbies" clear up to seasoned veterans. .Many of us are in the process of receiving our own surgeries as I am. I have completed my requirements and am waiting for a scheduling, date for RnY bypass. If you, need a friend to talk things over within I'm almost always available. I started out in August 2015 so I have done plenty of research. I can also talk about sleeve gastrectomy if that's what you're considering. If you need an all around friend who's,lived more years than she likes to admit, post me back and we'll get started on a friendship.??? Frustr8

It is very exciting to begin this journey. You’re going to learn a lot. Congrats on this wild ride of Weight loss surgery!

Hi, there! I'm just at the same stage as you, but my insurance requires 6 months of continuous nutrition counseling so my time frame will be a little longer. It is exciting !
