Hi, I am new to this journey. I have completed all initial visits and have talked to the surgeon. His name is Dr. Naziri in NC. I am just waiting on insurance approval and have been told it will probably take less that 2 weeks. I am very excited to move on to this new phase of my life. I have 4 children who range in age from 15 to 21 months. I am determined to put myself first for a change and give my kids a much healthier mom!:clap2:

I am newby, for a year i've been wanting to this surgery. My doctor just tells me to loose weight on my own... I am 250lbs 5'4 and have been overweight 10+. How do you get your doctor to approve this surgery?
