I am in the same boat. My surgeon says that it’s not an issue at all. I consumed an entire cup of soup broth in about 35 mins and panicked a bit. I was also able to eat an entire jello-cup in 30. So I decided to manually force pace myself just in case. I stretch it out to 1 hour or just serve myself 2-3oz.

If it's liquid, it'll basically go through you. Once you start regular food, you'll find you feel full very quickly--but you mostly won't feel full until then.

I was the same and was starting to get a wee bit concerned. Puréed food soon put a stop to that concern though ?

Ugh I want soft foods now! Lol :)

I also have the issue of non-hunger. I’ve no motivation to eat so when I do it’s all blah.

I get sleeved on May 30th..I can’t thank you all enough for posting what you are going thru..I am super nervous about it all and really appreciate you all being so candid..

Is it possible to take in too much liquids??? I’m on liquids only but can finish a entire cup of liquid not in one sitting but over an hour or so!!!

You cannot never take in too much liquid. Just pace yourself, you must take it slow, soon you will be in the puree stage and be super thankful lol, I know I sure did get tired of liquids all the time. Any phase really gets tiring, at 7 WKs post op, I was restricted to only cooked protein and protein shakes, they said no more cheese for me :( I love cheese lol but I guess it for the better to push the weight loss. Hang in there, all of you, it does get better! Oh and make sure you walk, walk & walk!
