New tricks and tips

I would love to hear everyone little tricks and tips.

I drink the ready to drink premier protein shakes but I add 1 cup fair life fat free milk. Helps thin out the shakes so not so thick (for those that don’t like them) I don’t mind the shakes but enjoy the extra fluid and the protein boost (43 grams).

A friend gave me a tip of adding fat free powdered milk to any shakes or milk to increase the protein so it's easier to meet protein requirements during the post surgery period when u consume very little.

Sugar-free Jello counts as a clear liquid. If you don't chew it well, it gives a sense of fullness in your stomach for a while when you're doing the pre-surgery liquid diet.

If/when you get sick of the protein shakes, try protein water. If you can't find it locally, you can order it online: try Protein2O or Atkins LIFT. Lighter than the shakes, helps with your water requirements, and has 15 g of protein per bottle.

I was also told that Isopure clear protein drinks aren't bad either. I think they r 40 grams per 20 oz bottle.

I get it at Sam's club. Some has 20g of protein. I find it very sweet, so I dilute 50% with water to get even more water in.
