Surgery Completed!

So, after a seven hour drive through whiteout conditions (thanks, Alaska), and a busy night of prep, my surgery went smooth, I’m mildly sore, and I’ve already been walking all over the ward. All in all pretty darn happy. Thanks for al the wishes and happy thoughts.

That’s fantastic! Congratulations on making it through. I was on cloud nine after my surgery in Dec 2017 so I can relate to feeling really happy...but no whiteout for me. So glad it was worth going through major snow and a super long drive. [emoji300]️[emoji253][emoji2]

So glad RapidFirePickle that everything went so well. Now get healthy and heal and then make it home safely.

Thanks folks! No nausea, no difficulties at all. A little soreness, but here I am three days later and I’ve walked 3.8 miles today. Granted it was slow walking and not all at once, but it feels good to get outside and move.
