Colon/gas left side pain

Just wondering, I had lapband surgery to gastric sleeve and ive been having cramping. I’m not sure what it is because its left side pain and its it may be attributed to the bowel, trapped gas.I mean it sounds funny but theres got to be an explanation. If anyone has any idea lmk.

I have gas pains as well and I'm 10 days post op gastric bypass. It sucks and it's painful. The best advice I was given and the only thing that will really help is to walk more.

I too was told to walk walk walk. However I injured my back two weeks after surgery and have not been able to. I find the slower I eat the better I feel. If I have any gas pain, I chew A Gas-X and it goes away quickly. I'm a month out now and I don't have the gas as much as I did. I have developed better habits as far as eating slower and very very small bites that I chew a lot. Also I had severe constipation from the pain medication due to my back. This really was difficult. But I'm past that now no more pain meds. I'd rather have the back pain.

Besides walking make sure you lie FLAT when down. Also, I used a heating pad on my tummy. I swear that's the worst part of the surgery and the most painful. Mine finally passed on day 5-6. Good and well wishes to you! Xoxo
