I am embarking on a new journey with weight loss post vsg. I am 8 months post op and I've lost 71lbs. I still have 43lbs left till goal. I feel as if my vsg surgery has done all it can do for me. Its all on me now and I am realizing how intimidating this all is. I have not implemented a structured exercise routine into my life. Ive become so lazy/weak? And so used to the non-movement part of this weight loss. I am so grateful I've lost 70 pounds with little exercise. I cant help but feel that if I had implemented a structured regiment i would have been closer to goal than now. There are people who started their journey at the same weight/time as me and have reached their goal weight or are like 10-15lbs away. Im not trying to make a pity part for myself. Im trying to make myself WAKE UP AND MOVE! Any advice and encouragement is appreciated. I reeeeally want to get down to my goal weight of 180. I am currently sitting between 225lbs-221lbs. Its been this way for 2 months now... hence me trying to shake things up. Please any ideas to get myself out of this cycle of nonmovement would be great. I need Mental ideas or advice... going to a gym using a home workout i know all of those options. How do i get out of this mindf%^& that keeps me sitting and not moving. I hope someone understands what i am trying to convey and gives some insight. Im all for tough love at this point or anything at all.
