6 weeks post surgery - Drinking

Wanted to try a cocktail or even just a shot this evening. Surgery was 3/7. Doing well post op. No issues. Pre-surgery weigh in on 2/26 was 304 and I’m currently at 274.

Should I? Or too risky?

My program recommends no alcohol for 1st year. Be careful of sugars in the alcohol and how you react now to liquor will be much quicker

It all depends on what your nutritionist has said. Mine said to wait at least 6 months. So I would ask them and see what they say?

I have not touched my favorite beverage (Beer Sam Adams) since Oct 15th because my taste buds do not desire the taste a beer anymore. However, I have never known a disciplined adult under the influence, LOL!

Had a couple vodka shots with Crystal Light. Feel fine. A touch tipsy but no complaints there. [emoji23]
