I hate it when people post just to post.....

....like when clearly the post has no relevance or adds no value to the OP's question or concern.

Like this:

OP Question: I am having trouble finding a good fish recipe I like...can anyone help?

Response: I hate fish! Fish makes me gag!

Can someone explain the purpose of this? I mean, if you don't like fish, then why dont you just move on to the next thread? Who really cares what makes you gag or not gag???? I know I don't.

It's only normal if you add a half cup of nails to it...

Hey travelgirl...the nails came up on dwlz.com. I know it's translated to weight watchers points but i think it comes out to like 2 points per half cup...

I was just banded last week but I was able to eat an entire footlong Subway sandwich today ... is this normal?? :biggrin1:

Funny you should say that....one of my doc's patients came in 3 weeks post op and admitted to eat a 6 inch sibway sub.

During his info seminars my surgeon has part patients come up and share their story. No shit, this is what a bandster shared with us the night I attended:

I really had to debate which surgery to get, but I'm really glad I went with the band. I can have cake, cookies and ice cream whenever I want them, and I know I wouldn't have been able to do that with the bypass.

When asked how much weight she had lost:

I'm down nearly 30 lbs so far, I will be a year out next month. I wish I had lost more weight. I think I just need to focus on protein first - eat the tuna BEFORE the ice cream, instead of AFTER.

paSt, not part

Your doc isn't bucking for a lot of new business, eh?

My doc is doing his first ever seminar in AZ in a few weeks and he asked me to attend. Now I know what not to say.

Actually, I don't want to talk. I have decided I am going as an observer only.

I just can't take it anymore! I have to stop myself from going into a tirade...

I'm glad this thread is here....

Faith: Maybe you should keep a tirade saved in a Word file and everytime someone posts something like that, you can copy and paste it into the thread? :)

im at the point where i have just put her on my ignore list. i feel bad doing it simply cause i cant refute her "advice", but i just cant stand her verbal vomit.

I think there is something wrong with my port site. Yesterday it began oozing green pus. Today it is completely black and I think my intestines are leaking out. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I see my surgeon? :)

Nah... it's normal. It's stinky but totally normal. My doc said so when my own intestines fell out. It speeds weight loss.

Oh good! Glad to hear I am not the only one. :whoo: I figured that since this was the norm then pooping out my navel was common practice as well.:guess

:D you mean all this time I could have been eating more than 3 tablespoons of food???? I thought this was standard, since she puts it on EVERY thread out there! :):faint:
