infection b4 sleeve surgery

I get bv infection's very easily even over stress and I just got one. I have a sleeve surgery coming up in a couple of days and would like to know if taking vitamin d3 is okay? it usually clears it up for me

I know there are some meds like blood thinners that the patience are supposed to stop 7-10 days before surgery but I was wondering if vitamin d3 is also included ?

thanks

I would call your surgeons office, but I was allowed to take OTC mucinex and other things due to a chest cold the weekend before surgery. And I still got to have the surgery! But every surgeon is different in their medication preferences I’d imagine.

D3 should be a part of your multivitamin and this regimen should have been started prior to and continued after surgery so yes, D3 is allowed. You should probably look at the multivitamin you are already taking for IU’s so you do not exceed to maximum daily dose.
