Hi Sherrie, I'm being banded on 1 November and plan to work from home from Mon to Wed next week then at the office after that. if I don't feel up to it, I will work at home for the rest of the week then go to the office the week after. Of course if I feel really bad, I will have a few days off first. From what I've read here, it varies. Good luck with your surgery... I hope we are 2 of the lucky ones with no problems! :)

I had my surgery on a thursday, and went back to work next monday (office work).

Congrats to you both on your surgeries, come back to let us know how it went!

I am getting banded on Thurs. Nov. 1. I wish I could take more time, but I am out of vacation, so I plan on taking Thurs. & Fri, I have to work 1/2 day on Sat. Then I get Sun. & Mon. off, so if I can just get thru Sat. I should be ok. At least Sat. is pretty light, I just sit at a computer, so I won't have to be moving around much.

I took three weeks off because i could. Some people go back a lot sooner, but i am glad i had the time to adjust to my band. Let us know how you do . Donna
