Waiting on approval

Hi I've never posted but follow along with the post. I've been at this process for 7 months now. Today all my paperwork was submitted to insurance and I was told by my insurance company that it is already under nurse review and the last seemed surprised. She said I would hear back in 2 days. Im just wondering if this is good or bad. Im so scared I will be denied.

Feel like you're perched on the edge of a razor blade, don't you? Your chances are good that it will be fine, this must be National Irritate the Client Day, AshMarie's Blue Care is doing equal things to her, her surgery is already scheduled for Wednesday and now they are pulling a balk on her. Seems it's between her PCP, surgeon and the insurance company and each blames the other. [emoji404]And AshMarie is caught in the middle. Gosh I hope it gets resolves, she is too nice for this to happen to.[emoji14][emoji415]

Are you using your insurance? The reason I am asking is it could be that you Surgical team is putting together the forms and data that your insurance will want and usually the insurance company drags their feet a little. I would suggest contacting your insurance company and seeing if the paperwork was submitted and approved. They actually can tell you.

Also if you are paying out of pocket, then most likely, they are trying to schedule everything you would need. Usually, they will provide you with a packet containing your last bit of information. That includes time and date of surgery and all the information you will for before and after surgery.
