Holy Heart Burn!

Hi All! I was sleeved Feb 28th and it went very well. I'm down 20 pounds didn't have much pain or nausea . UNTIL, 2 days ago. I have severe heart burn anytime i lay down or try to eat something puree stage. Luckily water is not a problem so i can get all that and my protein shake in. But anytime I try and eat it hurts and last night i couldn't get any sleep. It's not in my throat it's more under my chest plate. I'm on Dexilant and it's super expensive and is not doing the job. Please help me with any advice. I have a call in to the doctor but this group has been so helpful in my journey.

Is it certain foods? Are you tracking what you are eating?

Yuuuupppp... Never had an issue with heartburn before (except when I was pregnant), but ever since my surgery - even WATER gives me heartburn. I kid you not. So my doctor prescribed Prilosec twice a day - helps a ton.

Congrats on your progress!

Perhaps you'll want to contract your surgeon and get something prescribed to help with the heartburn. Heartburn is no fun at all!
