Not losing weight

My surgery is 3/5/18. I’m following the 2 week pre op protein diet to the letter. Instead of losing weight I’m gaining. Will I lose weight super slow after my bypass surgery? Feeling very discouraged.

Check your amount of sugar in you liquids. I keep mine around 5 grams only and up your water stay away from the fruit juices.

Could be water weight from hydrating , or retention from excess sodium
