Feeling sick

Today I woke up feeling sick. I threw up as soon as I woke up and I’ve been nauseous all day. I now have loose stool. Drinking water doesn’t help, drinking a banana strawberry smoothie doesn’t help either(it’s my go to drink when I’m nauseous and it usually works) I can’t find anything other than dumping syndrome but I don’t think I have that.

  • Sorry to hear this! Call your surgeon, they should know. Like Fluffy said, it could be an intestinal bug but the nursing staff at your surgeon office may have some tips for fighting it!

hot tea and chicken broth both work for me. the steam rising to my my nose is helpful as well as relaxing. hope you can nap/sleep - what could it hurt? handing you some kleenex - now BLOW!!!

  • Yikes! Sorry to hear this! I'd go to clear liquids until it clears. Maybe it's a bug? Maybe it's an angry pouch? Dunno. Sucks though. ((hugs))

I took a nap and since I threw up the second time I’m feeling a little better. Hope it goes away and I can go to the gym lol
