Anyone know why we can’t eat low carb vegetables on the pre-op diet? My prescribed diet has 0 fibre and I’m thinking this will not go well.

I was liquid 2 weeks prior which made the post op shake diet boring. Any diet that includes food and no veg probably is because of carb, low carb has new meaning for us. What else can you eat? Any fruit or beans?

4 high protein boost drinks plus .5 c cottage cheese per day. And sugar free liquids, tea, 1 c. broth. Never thought I’d fantasize about vegetables.

My eating felt pretty in control last few months and 4 days of liquid diet feels like I’m back at Go, do not collect $200, all progress lost.

Yes, two weeks for me

Yes fantasizing about citrus fruits was a thing for me. Popsicles are a nice addition (sugar free of course); brewers yeast is a nice flavor to maybe add to cottage cheese. It will get better!

THanks for the encouragement chycky
