Two months post op

Well I made it to 2 months out and things are getting easier. Surgery was December 11. Weight loss has slowed down so I just started a modified pre-op diet again with the Protein shakes and a small dinner. This has allowed me to lose another 3 pounds this week so far.

Weight loss has been slower than I was expecting, but I am just going to keep going and let this happen as it will.

I feel so much better- I am off pain meds for my back, just found out I am no longer pre-diabetic, and I am able to move more than I did prior to surgery.

For anyone debating whether to get this or not - it’s the end results that you need to look forward to. Everyone handles the surgery and recovery different so we cannot tell you your story. You just need to make the decision if you want to continue living as you are today or if you want to go through some discomfort to improve your life.

Overall I am so happy I did this any I am taking this day by day. Pic is first one from morning of surgery and the other was taken this week. I can’t see a big difference yet but really feel it because I can get in clothes 2 to 3 sizes smaller now. Woohoo!!

Good luck to everyone coming up on their surgery dates.

How did it feel to get into the 100’s? That’s what I am looking forward to. Keep up the good work.

Not as nearly as good as when I hit 183! I’ve never had an issue losing weight below the 200’s however for years 184 has always been the lowest I’ve been able to go no matter what I do, so when I hit 183 I did a super happy dance.

My weight goal is 120-125lbs so still a long ways to go!

Thanks :) you as well!
