Nauseous liquid diet

Anyone else get sick on the pre op liquid diet? I have been on the liquid diet since weds. Then this morning I had half a protein drink and some broth. I threw up all the broth. Is this normal? I don't feel sick like a stomach bug or anything. I feel like my body is just pissed at me for not eating..

I got a bit sick days 2-5 of my preop diet and I just figured it was a bug. Now I'm starting to wonder if it was my body protesting again the changes xx

I got pretty sick feeling last night immediately after having some broth mixed with protein powder. Thankfully I didn't throw up. I took some dramamine to help with the nausea and slowly ate a couple popsicles to give my stomach something small to do. Those things helped tremendously. Haven't felt nauseated again since then. I definitely think this diet throws the body into shock. You're not alone!
