Post-Op Diabetes Question

I've read a lot of accounts of people being able to go off their type 2 diabetes meds fairly soon after surgery. But I'm curious, what about some of the other lovely diabetes stuff... the ultra dry skin, neuropathy, etc. Do they go away eventually as well?

      I walked out of the hospital minus four diabetes medications. My blood sugar levels and A1c are going down. As for the other lovely diabetes stuff, I didn't have any so I can't comment.
