2 weeks post op today!

I wanna know how people in my situation are doing??? I have lost 8 pounds since the operation I feel good, I get full by “eating” so little, I am in the liquid stage, I have tried eggs, beans etc.. all good, but my biggest concerns are: will my hair fall off?? Do I need vitamins? (My doctor said he doesn’t recommend them??) and my scars, would you guys recommend any good cream, oil? To make them go away?? And, will I ever eat solid food :/?? Thanks!

Hi I'm 2 weeks post op too and have lost 6.5kg which is around 15 pounds. I am on liquid diet until Monday and then puree foods (and cant wait to eat eggs.)

You might loose your hair, but it would not be noticeable. ( I had this concern too as I have very long hair and love it) but when you are on solid food (week 6 for me) and you eat healthy and take your muti -vitamins your hair will be fine and go back to normal. (info from my hairdresser) so dot worry about your hair, and yes you will be able to eat solid food again.

I use vitamin E oil for my skin and has been fine.

I had my surgery 1/22/18 - so Monday is 2 weeks for me. I lost quite a bit the first week and only 3 lbs so far this week. My first week was clear liquids and I'm on smooth liquids now. I've also had issues with going to bathroom (not going - now it seems I'm ok) and I am very cold all the time (used to be hot all the time).

I continue smooth liquids for 3 weeks
