Phase 3 (soft solid foods) weight stall/gain

Anyone have any advice on the transition to phase 3 (soft solid foods) weight stall and/or weight gain?

I started my transition this Friday (11 days out), per my doctor. It started with just 1 ounce of salmon (lunch and dinner) on friday, then 2 ounces of salmon (lunch) and 1 egg (dinner) on Saturday. During the Friday and Saturday my weight stalled and this morning (sunday), I'm up 0.2 ounces. I know it's not much, but I am trying to prepare my mind for the "if" I have larger gains. I also was able to increase my protein intake from an avg 50g - 60g per day, to 80-90g over Friday and saturday. Any experiences, advice or comments would help. Thank you

Stop stressing. Your weight will fluctuate all over the place. Everyone thinks it will be a steady drop, and it just doesn't work that way. Some days you'll be up half a pound, or three pounds.....then, Boom, it's gone and taken two more pounds with it.

As long as you follow the program, you will lose weight.

That whole watched pot never boils thing? Apply it to weight loss. You will make yourself nutty watching the scale three times a day:)

Be patient and trust....it works as long as you're following your program.

If you want to do something to make yourself feel better....walk. Walking is always a good thing:)

The scale can mess with your head. @Creekimp13 advice is on point. Congratulations on 19.6 down (according to your stats) Real food stage is on the way.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Concentrate more on your weekly loss than daily loss. I can hover the same for days, then all the sudden drop 2 in a single day. It's crazy. Once I moved to solid foods I felt the same way, but week after week I am still losing, and most importantly dropping inches.

Have you been measuring and taking photos? I find the photos to be the best motivation. I have the same outfit I wear week to week, then take a series of facing each direction with only my underwear on (not publishing those). I also have the mandatory shot in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, and I have already been able to do the obligatory both legs on one side of my jeans photo. Crazy! I am only 2.5 months post-op.
