Post op nausea?

Hi, all- had my sleeve done on Monday and am still in the hospital. Everything has been going pretty well except nausea- I have been throwing up a lot (mostly dry heaves) so they will be keeping me for a little longer just to make sure I’ll be able to get to enough fluids in when I get home. My question is whether anyone of you were throwing up 2 days after surgery like this, and I whether it stopped for you after the narcotics wear off? I am really hoping it’s just a reaction to the meds, but worried that I might be an unlucky one who is just going to have a lot of long term nausea along with the sleeve? Thanks in advance!
