Why is it one week?

I have done everything but i have to lose 8 pound to get approved for the surgery and i have my appointment next week with the nut

They asked you to lose eight pounds in one week? Not sure if I'm going to be much help but I will try. Have you been on a six month weight loss requires? How much are you down?

I'm three years out from surgery. I can't lose eight pounds in a week. It's more like one to two pounds, I also exercise two hours a day five days a week. one hour cardio one hour lifting.

My calorie intake is 1200. My protein goal is 70-130. Low carb lots of water.

The only way I know my calories and macronutrients is logging my food in my fitness pal.

Pity you didn't plan to do it in 12-25 days. Seven days or fewer is a tall order.

1. Have four half-strength low-carb protein shakes made on WATER over the course of a day. (about 4.5-5.5 hours apart).

2. Drink 1.2-2.1 litres of water during the whole 24 hour day.

I weigh myself before I leave home and when I come back. The difference (before any eating or drinking) is 700 grams to 1.7 kg (1700 grams) lost via exercise ... depends on heat, humidity, intensity, hydration ...

So, before I eat my 950-1450 calories per day, I am already down 700-1700 grams. (That's 25 ounces to 60 ounces melted daily ... or 1.5 to 2.5 pounds per day).

On my post op and eating much more than you will, I have a nett loss of 1.2kg to 1.7kg per week (3 to 3.75 pounds).

Scratch the advice above - what was I thinking...Do the best you can to lose the weight. Don't beat yourself up if it doesn't happen in 8 days. It's the fact you are loosing not how fast.

If you keep your carbs to under 10 carbs and drink a ton of water ,you should lose up to 10 pounds in one week. You will get flu like symptoms!
