Stones were discovered when abdominal ultrasound was done. I have an appt next week, Thursday. Dr wants gallbladder out. Anyone else have gallstones? Apparently no surgery until gallbladder is out??? I have heard that gallbladder can be removed during VSG surgery. Anyone in this same situation? Thank you all!!!!

I had the gastric sleeve, gallbladder removal due to gallstones, hiatal hernia repair and regular hernia repair all done at the same time on August 2. I guess it is just the doctor's preference.

Hi! How are you feeling? Just had my procedure done Monday.

I felt pretty good except for bad pain in my belly button. It’s odd because it was so localized, so I felt good otherwise. I was actually up and grading the day after. Sleeping hurt like all heck, so I just kept myself busy.
