It has been a rough 4 days. I went through buyers remorse big time last night. Had extreme nausea and felt like I couldn’t swallow anything. Had clearly lost a lot of water as I was down 12 lbs in 24 hours. Every time I tried to drink I felt nauseous, probably drank 6 oz of water the whole day. Called my Dr and he wrote me an Rx for anti nausea meds. As I sat up most of the night, I did what no one should do, and searched the internet for my symptoms. I narrowed it down to intestinal blockage or simple constipation. Well, constipation is the most likely, so I sent my wife to the store for enemas, MoM, and suppositories. She gave me an enema this morning (marriage level Expert Achieved!). A few hours later and things started feeling better. This is the most normal day I’ve had since the surgery.
I do have some... pressure in my chest/throat area. I wonder if this has to do with the fact that I had both a hiatal hernia and rny done. Anyone else have this done together? Anyway, I just wanted to post with the small victory. I feel like I can see a light at the end of the tunnel... looks like a long tunnel, but at least it doesn’t look as dark as it did last night.
