I used protein sachets of soups and oatmeal and was ok. Today (day 13), I tried two bites of spaghetti squash and had pain then nausea then vomiting. I’m trying again chewing really well. TBD.

Are you on an antacid? It’s part of my post op (day 5) and it helps me to take it before eating or drinking anything. I also found a few things that really work for me (soup broth, Powerade zero, and popsicles) and I stick with that. I was warned new things introduced can upset the tummy initially, perhaps that’s what’s going on. I hear it gets better as you heal and advance diet. But if you don’t have an antacid it might be worth asking the doc about—it makes me feel more settled.
