I was just wondering how long this post-op chest ache is suppose to last. I feel relieved when i am standing but as soon as sit I feel like I have the band stuck in my chest or something...I can breath, but deep breaths hurt like hell. Is there anything anyone did to relieve this tightness?

I was banded three days ago, too - and have the exact same problem. Help!:help:

It will be a little less each day. It will be a combination of you getting used to it and it subsiding through the week. I don't remember when it finally went away....I think it was subtle....probably within the first week to two weeks it was gone. Remember, this is the result of surgery. You're going to do some bigtime healing the first two weeks.
