Surgery date 11/16

My surgery was 11/16 I was very nauseous after but didn't throw up. I slept most of the afternoon. I woke up at 2am and went for a lap around the ward. At 7am they took me for my leak test. Everything came out fine so I was sent home by noon. I'm not in a lot of pain However it is painful when I drink. I am on clear liquid until Tuesday when I can start adding protein. Broth and water go down pretty good but jello and popsicles burn my stomach. I've been pretty active today. Went for a little walk around the block, started a load of laundry and washed dishes. When hubby gets home, we will do two laps around the block.

I had surgery on the same day! My clear liquids are for 7 days and I’m already fantasizing about the yoghurt I’m going to have Friday morning. My surgery was at 7:30 and by 9:30 I was back in my room. At noon I went for my first walk around the ward which was tiring but I made it. My Dr requires that you walk every 2 hours for about 10mins. The only thing really bugging me is the pain just above my belly button incision. The pain isn’t on the site, just a bit higher up, I hope that it will pass soon because I want to start walking on the treadmill on Friday.
I also did some laundry yesterday which I pretty much avoid doing, seems like the surgery is turning me into a good partner, lol.
