Hey everyone! So I’m almost 3 weeks post op and I’ve been admitted in the hospital for four days now. My Lipase levers were at 2,000!!! When normal range is 94-374... it went down to 1,000 then 800 and now back up to 900.. I was supposed to get my gallbladder removed today but of course it got pushed to tomorrow since my levels went up instead of down.
Has anyone experienced something like this? If so how was the recovery for that compared for the sleeve? I’ve literally been on liquids for 8 days because before I got admitted I wasn’t able to keep anything down.. worst part of it all is I haven’t lost any weight at all since a little over a week post op... like how is that even possible?! So now I’m super sick and not losing weight, I probably wouldn’t be so annoyed or upset if I was at least losing weight lol I know that might sound bad but I’ve gone though all this mess for what feels like nothing! Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!!
