Change in plan

Initially things started out looking like I would go the sleeve route but I want to go the traditional Roux-en-Y simply because I believe that I might have a bit of a sweet tooth and it would be better if sweets just were not an option. Plus, my Primary Care Physician is recommending the Roux-en-Y because she said that patients lose more weight and keep more of it off when compared to the sleeve. So, I am sold.

It was a long day but everything went well. I've been given a diet and exercise guide. Its time to put it in action. Hopefully I've lost something by the time I go to my second appointment next month. Excited and terrified at the same time!
