I'm just on low-carb, high protein, so it hasn't been too bad. Although, I've only lost 7lbs (current weight: 235). My surgical team said they expected me to lose around 10, but I still have a few days left.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time. I know a lot are on liquid diets pre-op.

I've been doing a practice round this week, I noticed that if I have my super yummy protein shake twice a day and a few popsicles and maybe some broth, that makes me feel not hungry. I was a huge sweets person and could eat anything, drink pop, coffee. But I cut all of that to do this "test run." What's the hardest part for you?

I'm on day three of the pre-op diet and I think my body is starting to realise there are no carbs coming anytime soon! Just had lunch, protein shake and some salad vegetables but really need to stop the grumbling stomach. From what I've read on here after tomorrow it will be easier. Surgery 15 November.
