Weight loss!

I'm a month out and I've lost 23 pounds, I was 270 when I went in for surgery and now I'm 247

Is that a decent amount of weight?

Yes! That's perfect. My doctor says 25 lbs the first month and 10 lbs a month after that.

Yes. I saw your other post were you were at 14lbs at 3 weeks, 23lbs at a month out you must have had a huge woosh of loss!

It should depend on how much you need to lose. I lost about the same (30 in 5 weeks) I would follow your doctors advice. His opinion might change if he is talking to someone that has much more to lose then you do.
