Hi all-

My original date was October 17th but we were hit with terrible wildfires here in Sonoma County and surgery was canceled. I was hugely disappointed but of course my biggest concern was for my family, friends and community! We got a bit of rain yesterday and the fires are almost out - YAY -

Yesterday I got the call that my hospital is re-opened after evacuation and my new surgery date is Halloween

After losing 13 pounds, the fires hit and I did a lot of emotional eating but am back to basics starting tomorrow...geez, I almost cant wait for the next week of shakes, SF jello and chicken broth

Hi MissT.. So glad you are ok and i am sorry for your set back.. My Aunt was in that area too but her home was not damaged. I am in a thread on here call Oct 17 RNY buddies. Not sure if your in there but My surgery is on Oct 30th.. 10 days to go and on my 2 week pre op diet.. did you have to do your pre op over again ?
